No new Legos pictured today

 Today I learned that the "Craftown" section of the Canon Papercraft site is scaled approximately for Lego people.  I made a paper car.  



Get in loser!  We're going to blow up the Death Star and dismantle capitalism!

Wow, I never even heard of this site! (well, unless you have mentioned it before and I didn't bother to see what you were talking about). Are any of these things simple enough to assemble that a 6-year-old could do it? That car doesn't look too hard. Where do you find it - under vehicles?

They have several items marked "Beginner series," and some with "30 minutes" for build time. Some of the beginner series are easy enough for a six year old, but the first one or two probably require the help of a grownup, preferably a grownup who has done paper models before. Someone should show her how to press the paper with something to make the folds straight. I'd think a butter knife would be good, I use whatever happens to be around - dead ink pens are pretty handy.

I started building models with my dad when me and my brother were about that age.

It should be known that Canon hosts that site for the purposes of selling their highly profitable ink. Take a look at these lovely dioramas.

There should be adult help for printing, only because Canon is sneaky about getting you to use lots of ink. I recommend only printing instructions in black and white or not at all.
