The World Meteorological Association named a tropical storm "Epsilon" just so that someone could say "Epsilon is expected to grow very large."

It is a statement of fact that Epsilon is expected to grow very large over the next 48 hours.

Oh, the knees must be sore from all the slapping.

Oh man, is it bigger than delta? I never understood those proofs.

There some sort of mathematical proof that Kelly muttered about a lot in college involving saying "delta less than epsilon" a lot. That's all I really know on that score.

For me, deltas are either heavy versions of protons and neutrons, electrons knocked aside by passing high energy particles, or just the difference between any two things. It's a popular letter.

Delta in my world is the set of changes from one version to the next. In fact, ServiceNow has "Release Delta" tests - it is typically an eight question test that asks about specific new or changed capabilities. I took the Paris Release Delta exam yesterday to maintain my Certified Systems Admin.
