Let's try a different picture with Google Photos!

I'm giving up on dropbox and google for hosting photos.  Here.  Have another Flickr photo.  



I am limited to 1000 photos with Flickr, I'm only in the 300s.  Maybe that will be enough.  It will be enough for now, I suppose. >:(

I gave up and went back to the only one that's been working.

Yeah, I can't see the image either. There's a placeholder with the tag "a porcine feline" but clicking it does nothing.

DW image handling is total shit. And it does not work AT ALL with Google Photos (which is where I keep my online photos). That's why I have been using their "post image by email" from my phone. When it works. Which is well over 50% of the time, but not as consistently as I would like.

I see what I would interpret as either the alt text or a descriptive text, but no picture.

I'm bummed I can't see the cat pic. I am on my phone... So that might contribute to why...?

That one I can see. 1000 photos seems like enough to me, unless you are counting on Flickr as your primary photo backup in case your hard disk explodes.

I suppose I could try that instead of pig-headedly insisting on using DW's barely functional post-by-email interface, but I'm already pretty well invested in Google Photos for backing up/sharing photos and I just don't want to add one more confusing online interface to my brain.

I do have some photos on Shutterfly, but I only use that for producing my yearly Grandchild Yearbooks. And every year I have to relearn their interface, which is powerful but hard to use at best and constantly changing.

It's okay. I do need to find the image location text in their automatically generated html that includes a bunch of superfluous shit, and strip out just the image address, but at least it's possible.

If I run out, I'll get a paid DW account, which I'm thinking about doing anyway just to be supportive.
