Some pictures
Jun. 30th, 2014 11:01 pmI bought a camera at Costco back in January. I couldn't figure out how to get the flash to fire, and I finally figured out that it didn't work and sent it in for repair. In the meantime, the smaller camera fits in my purse better and I've happened to have it a few times.
Here's what was recorded in May and June.
We went to a Twins game in May, which was lots of fun. TC Bear shot at the crowd with a cannon, because the only thing more American than Baseball is T-shirts dispensed via projectile weapon.

On Mother's Day, we went to the Mall of America with my mom because she really enjoys Underwater World. We also saw the Legos.

Giant Lego Figure is happy to be operating the giant robot.

Proletarian Giant Lego Figure would probably be happier with a project that had a more realistic deadline, and didn't have the operator already in it.
Raver Jellyfish!

Seahorses

Sturgeon heading for the Exit.

Poison Dart Frogs

In June, I went to Claycon, where someone was nice enough to make a Hamburger Cake. It was as delicious as it was attractive.

The following weekend was
davidkingsley's 50th party, and I brought this. It's a double recipe of upside-down cake in a 9 x 13 pan (rather than a cast-iron frying pan) and it turned out fine. Easier than Hamburger cake, and also delicious.

Here is the justification for not calling it a "squirrel feeder." It's an actual bird.

We went to GLBT Pride in Loring Park, where the ducks are so used to people, they let you walk right up.

Then, off for a swim.

Bye-bye ducks!
