2. Good news for convicted criminals seeking appeal! Any evidence obtained via video camera in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Washington or Illinois, unless it is explicitly consented to, is inadmissible. The police are completely and wholeheartedly in support of this interpretation, as not only is it a violation of privacy to video record anyone in public, it's grounds for immediate arrest.

I'm sure that the all convicted bank robbers in those states will breathe a sigh of relief today.
3. For the Linux enthusiasts among you, there's a gem in Emails from Crazy People. That sounds preposterous to me, too.
4. In Mobile Alabama, a local TV station promoted the local news with a billboard that displayed the station's news tweets in real time. Nothing went wrong. Well, except this.
5. This TSA Logo contest is fake, but my favorite is the one with the thumb in a butt.
6. This Fan's Choice Poll is less fake. It's a poll of the finalist patches for the last Space Shuttle mission. According to the link "The judges will consider the result of that vote when selecting the winning artwork, which will fly aboard one of the final space shuttle missions." It's not binding, ostensibly to keep you people from voting for P Z Myers. I'm somewhat partial to #14, I think.
