Beer brewing day
Dec. 13th, 2009 12:39 pmHere's what we're doing while I work on the giant pile of stuff that needs to be completed within the next three days.

The Hex Nut Brown Ale is the second repeat we're doing, after the Grand Cru. Easily my favorite of all the Midwest recipes, the Hex Nut has the best bittering hops flavor that I've ever tasted. Probably not a good beer for those who don't like hoppy beers, but an excellent beer for those who do.
I don't care that it says it's cloned from Goose Island, it's better than Goose Island by a lot. Some of that is probably just because unpasteurized beer tastes better.
I cannot recommend this one enough.
