Checking to see what dreamwidth updates look like
Pumpkin Ale is in the primary fermenter!
Probably not ready for Halloween, but around mid-November it should still be quite enjoyable.
Facebook, Dreamwidth, and probably LJ all do a slightly annoying thing, and that's the use of the PLURAL pronoun "their" in place of a singular non-gendered pronoun.
As in "Billy has granted you access to their journal," rather than the equally understandable and overwhelmingly less annoying "You have been granted access to Billy's journal."
To quell everyone's fury over this extremely important transgression, here a pictorial history of six ounces of Hops.
Hops to be picked
Six ounces of fresh, moist hops
Hops drying in the garage
One ounce of dry hops immediately before being added to the boil
Submerged hops
In about a month, they will be lucky enough to be beer.
