Marscon 2009
Here is my Marscon 2009 report.
None of the pictures that I took of the awesome Green Lantern Corp costumes really turned out, there are much better pictures available via better photographers than me. Like here, f'rinstance. Those are much better.
Here are some of my pictures from Marscon, with captions.
Here is Kali, who got some extra watchies before we left for the weekend. She did not starve to death while we were gone, but she's got some extra weight on her for when watchies are scarce.

This is consuite food. In bright, shiny colors to attract attention.

These are paints and the colors are not as shiny, but they're still attractive enough to attract miniature painters. (Not small people who paint, but people who paint small things)

vanaabegra painting miniatures.

Facebooking from a skiffy convention is the apex of the dorktasm.

A few costume photos...

Peeps! Peep! Peep! Peeps!
There was a great debate as to whether the crunchy, expired Peeps are better than the soft, not disgusting Peeps. Surprisingly, most people are wrong.

This is "blog," or "bhlog," or "punch with vodka," except the vodka is an add on later.

These Peeps are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Here's Jennifer looking awesome and being awesome. Jennifer is a co-head for the guest relations department for Marscon 2010, she will be managing the Gwynyth Walsh visit.

It's a picture of a sign. Not really much I can say about that, now is there?

Here's
kditzy being awesome and looking awesome, immediately after a theatrical performance on the other-ass end of the world.

I think it was "Match Game" where the contestants would be read off "Goldfish... Traffic Cones... Hunting Vests... Candy Corn..." - THINGS THAT ARE ORANGE! This is the hotel version of that game.

Andy, posing for a picture.
